Our History

Avoma Communities initiative is a team of volunteers who believe that every devastated community who with modest assistance can find local solutions to local problems using local resources

Our Journey started in 2012 as a team of friends working with adolescent girls and young women that had been devastated by HIV and had the desire to continue with school yet faced with the care burden for loved ones under their care. Our Voluntary services expanded over the years and in 2023, Avoma was incorporated.

To date, our services extend to children (12-19 years) in conflict with the law, refugees, child Mothers, persons with disability(PWID) boys (15-24 years) that are not in any form of education, training or employment and young people living with HIV
